Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Treats:
Ingredients:
150g whole wheat flour
50g rolled oats
1 ripe banana, mashed
60ml unsweetened applesauce
2 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 large egg
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and oats.
In a separate bowl, mix together the mashed banana, applesauce, peanut butter, and egg until well combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes.
Roll the dough out to about 1cm thick and use cookie cutters to cut out shapes.
Place the treats onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow the treats to cool completely before serving to your dog.
